You can take the girl out of the east coast but you can't take the east coast out of the girl!
Two weeks wasn't enough! Heck, I could be there for a month and I'd still say the same thing! I miss it there so much... I love everything about it - everything. xoxo

The one and only ~ Hydrangea
The fruits of our labor - literally.
Our garden. From germination to seedlings to plants to vegetables- I love it all! My hands down, favorite part of summertime. We've planted a garden for the past nine summers now, but there is something that has made the veggies taste just a little better the past six. It's been so great and important to me, that we include the boys in the process. From setting up my little greenhouse, spritzing the planted seeds, thinning out the seedlings - all of it, they help with all of it. Some of my most special memories are of Dad letting me "man" his peanut plants. Not to mention helping in that gigantic garden of ours - to this day, the smell of tomato plants bring me back to my childhood (there is something so different about weeding a vegetable garden and weeding a flowerbed - I don't mind doing the garden!). I hope when the boys get older, they have the same special feelings towards gardening that I do.

Skyscape
Why does it seem that the sky is so much more beautiful when we are on vacation? Maybe if we looked up more often when at home we would be pleasantly surprised...
Sun dog (had to look this up to make sure). Cool - huh? It's formed by the refraction of sunlight by small ice crystals making up the clouds. We saw two over the weekend.
